Ann Pigott was born in Hamilton, Ontario but has lived in several Canadian cities. She has resided in London for the past 20+ years. Ann has exhibited work at Tourism London Corporate Offices; The Arts Project, London; Gallery in the Grove, Brights Grove; and Lambeth Art Association Annual Spring Shows. She won the Best in Show Award, Lambeth Art Association Annual Show in 2011. Her main mediums are currently oil pastel and fluid acrylics.
Ann is most influenced by artists David Milne and Tom Thomson. She is inspired by the landscapes of Algonquin Park but also enjoys setting up still life's of fruit and vegetables and painting in a spontaneous manner, reacting to the work as it develops.
