Hugh Todd

Hamilton native Hugh Todd moved to Midland, ON with his family in 1960 where he gained a fascination and appreciation of the Georgian Bay area. There, he was introduced to pen and ink drawing and began to produce rendering in both black and coloured ink. Hugh lived in London, ON where, for a decade, he worked in the art department of an outdoor advertising company after spending several years as a musician travelling throughout Ontario, producing works that were later shown in 3 London galleries; Following a showing of Hugh's ink rendering at the Huronia Museum in midland, ON, the Georgian Sun describe Hugh's work as 'exquisitely fine-lined drawings', which have 'a detailed approach,' giving the exhibit a 'Japanese feel...' Other works have sold both publicly and privately.
